Automations
A scheduled campaign sends a prepared message at a chosen time. An automation defines a repeatable sequence using customer events, delays, conditions and actions.
Use a scheduled campaign for a planned announcement. Use automation for ongoing follow-up such as onboarding or reminders that depend on customer activity.
Choose one customer event and one useful outcome before building the workflow.
- Identify the audience or event that starts the journey.
- Choose the message or action that should follow.
- Add a delay or condition only where it improves the customer experience.
- Prepare the sender, template and contact fields required by each action.
- Test the route and review its status before activating the workflow.
Check the workflow status, the starting event or audience rule and the contact data required by the next step. Then review the sender, template, channel setup and wallet for the action being attempted.
Use the relevant event or campaign record when investigating. This helps you distinguish a journey that did not start from a message that was created but did not deliver.
